Deputy Commissioner for Municipal Services - Joe Cavazos
Joe Cavazos serves as the Deputy Commissioner for Municipal Services, Commission Operations and Audit and Risk Management for the Department of Civil Service. In this role, Deputy Commissioner Cavazos oversees Municipal Services, which provides technical advice and assistance to 95 local civil service agencies and supports the Civil Service Commission in review of local rulemaking proposals and analysis of 211 waiver requests and Commission Operations, which supports the Civil Service Commission in review or state rulemaking proposals and amendments to these rules for State Service.
