Welcome to the HRAcademy
The HRAcademy prepares human resource professionals for the challenging roles of tomorrow by utilizing the latest technology and offering the knowledge essential for effective merit system administration. The Academy supports our continued efforts to develop and empower a new generation of human resource professionals.
The HRAcademy uses the latest technology to offer training across the state to ensure access to each and every human resource professional. In addition to offering classroom based training, webcasting, a form of online training, has been chosen as one of the primary delivery methods. Webcasting allows individuals with internet access and a telephone to attend live online training sessions. Our online sessions include participants from across the state, including Buffalo, Syracuse, and New York City.
The Department of Civil Service has partnered with the NYS Personnel Council, NYS Training Council, NYS Affirmative Action Advisory Council and the human resource community at large to develop accurate, practical and pragmatic training. This partnership has been invaluable and we will continue to foster these relationships to deliver the best possible programs for NYS human resource professionals.
