New York State Invites Government Interns

The New York State Department of Civil Service's Public Management Institute (PMI) is seeking a new class of interns with appropriate graduate-level education and experience from culturally diverse backgrounds. Interns will receive competitive professional salaries, guided training, and challenging job opportunities that will enhance their skills and knowledge of key state and local government operations. Interns who successfully complete the two year program have the opportunity to become permanent, full-time employees of New York State, as well as future leaders in New York State government.

Candidates must meet the announced minimum qualifications to compete in the PMI selection process. A component of the minimum qualifications is possession of a Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, or Public Affairs.
