CIVIL SERVICE ANNOUNCES WINTER CAREER EXPO AND JOB FAIR - MONDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2006

New York, NY - A Winter Career Expo and Job Fair on Monday, December 4, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Harlem State Office Building offers New York City residents the chance to meet with employers in the public and private sector. Sponsored by the New York State Department of Civil Service, New York City Housing Resources Administration (HRA) Housing and Homeless Services Division and Arbor/New York Jobs Partners, the job fair is free and open to the public.
Attendees of the job fair will have the opportunity to meet with the New York State Department of Civil Service regarding employment possibilities with the State. Other organizations and companies accepting applicants include the United States Army, Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), New York State Department of Corrections, New York City Police Department, Cablevision, Aramark and Federal Express. Job seekers are invited to bring resumes and come prepared for interviews.
