Scope of the Mid-Level Managers and Administrators Promotion Test Battery
for September 22, 2001:
- Management and Supervision: Assesses analyzing information
for problem solution; communicating information within an organization and
across organizations; interacting with others for the purposes of accomplishing
work; monitoring quality, quantity and timeliness of work; designing and implementing
action plans; assigning and scheduling work; and empowering others to act
on their own initiative.
- Written Communication: Assesses developing written communications,
reviewing written communications for mechanics, content and appropriateness;
and managing written communication activities.
NOTE:
- If you are qualified for Examination Number 05-024, but you do NOT meet the
qualifications for the Mid-Level Managers and Administrators Promotion
Test Battery, you MUST apply for and take the written test for Examination
Number 05-024 on September 22, 2001. Your score on this test will NOT result
in a banked Promotion Test Battery score.
- If you are qualified for Examination Number 05-024 and ALSO meet the qualifications
for the Mid-Level Managers and Administrators Promotion Test Battery,
you must likewise file an application for Examination Number 05-024. That application

If you pass, your seniority credit(s), if any, will be included in the computation
of your final score. Rank on the eligible list will be determined after adding
any war-time veterans credits to your final passing score.
