NOTES:
THE POSITION: This position exists in the Department of Economic Development in New York City.
DUTIES: As Chief, Communications Industries Production Assistance, under the general direction of the Director of the Office of Motion Picture and Television Development, you would be responsible for coordinating a program designed to increase motion picture, television and industrial video production in New York State in order to improve its economic position. In this capacity you would be the State's liaison to production companies, local and State government offices, labor unions and guilds, chambers of commerce, community organizations, and other interested parties in order to resolve any problems and to facilitate motion picture and television production.
SUBJECT OF EXAMINATION: There will be no written test. The test will consist of an evaluation of your education and experience. Furnish complete information on your application form (OC-APP) to show that you meet the minimum qualifications. Do NOT send resumes. If you need more space, attach additional 8½ x 11 sheets, following the same format used on the application form. Additional unsolicited information will not be accepted after the last date for filing.
