Empire Plan benefits include inpatient and outpatient hospital coverage, medical/surgical coverage, Centers of Excellence for transplants, infertility and cancer, home care services, equipment and supplies, mental health and substance abuse coverage and prescription drug coverage.

Updated Publications
We are happy to announce that the new version of On the Road with The Empire Plan for NY/PE Retirees is at the printer and will be available in fulfillment soon.

On the Road with The Empire Plan for Retirees (maroon cover) replaces the June 2008 version for NY/PE Retirees and includes contact information for The Empire Plan Mental Health and Substance Abuse Insurer/Administrator, UnitedHealthcare/OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions, and up-to-date network provider information. Please remove copies of the old publication and the insert for page 14 from your shelves and recycle them.

Distribution
We will not be mailing these publications to enrollee homes. This publication is included in our new retiree packages, so only order them for your Empire Plan enrollees as needed.
