Useful Tips for an Enjoyable Webinar
  • Schedule the session on your calendar
  • Close all other applications on your computer
  • Use a headset or phone shoulder rest when possible
  • Stay away from cell phones and speaker phones
  • Prior to your session, spend some time logging onto the system to ensure that you are able to make the connection
  • Try not to multitask... Concentrate on the virtual meeting , the other pressing items will still be there when you are done
  • Be Punctual...log onto your session 15 minutes prior to its start time
  • When you first connect to the webinar meeting, introduce yourself and the agency that you represent
  • Be Prepared to Participate- Presenters will periodically ask for comments and opinions from the participants
  • Use the "raise hand" feature to avoid interrupting a presentation
  • Ask questions if you don't understand something or have lost the conversation thread
  • Keep comments and questions concise and to the point
