Proposal Information

Description:

- Intern will provide support for a variety of DHSES Office of Counter Terrorism (OCT) functions, including annual Law Enforcement Conferences for Bomb Squads, Explosive Detection Canine Teams, and Tactical Teams; administration of the Bombmaking Materials Awareness Program (BMAP), staff support for OCT's coordination of the 16 Counterterrorism Zones (CTZs) statewide, support for the State's Radiation Detection Program and Enhanced Red Team Program, and other related planning and analysis duties.
- This intern will have the opportunity to view (or attend) related training opportunities as requested, both in the Albany area and at the State Preparedness Training Center (SPTC) in Oriskany.

* Only students from UAlbany's College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity are eligible to apply for this internship.*
