Proposal Information

Description:

1. First intern will be directly involved with the Operations Trainer to help facilitate and present the ESF training courses; the course is going through some modification for a beta testing to the ESF's at the end of this month and first two weeks of August as prep for the federal drill end of August. After the federal drill¿using AAR's---the course will go back for a rewrite and once "set" the course will be rolled out. Intern will assist with the logistics of this course and help with the NYR and EOC rewrites. This intern should have some experience or interest in writing and training.

2. The Second intern will assist the Section Chief, Jay Zobel, directly with the ability to take initiative and see projects through while collaborating with other team members. Applicants should have strong time management skills, and the ability to prioritize projects. Be able to work under stressful time lines. The ideal applicant would be available 15 - 20 hours per week, and would perform tasks to support the statewide goals as they relate to disaster preparedness and response.
