Description:
Full-time Level II fieldwork for OTA/OT students from an accredited and contracted college within a forensic mental health setting providing evaluation, care and treatment to court ordered individuals who have been deemed "unfit to proceed" or adjudicated by a plea of "not criminally responsible due to mental disease or defect." Student will work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team offering OT recommendations/interventions that are recovery oriented and offer active treatment related to psycho-social functioning, cognitive rehabilitation, functional skill development, and vocational rehabilitation/skill development offered in a treatment mall model of practice.
