Description:
The New York State Athletic Commission is seeking a law school intern for the Spring semester. The ideal candidate should exhibit an interest in combat sports, particularly boxing and mixed martial arts, as well as a proficiency in legal research and writing. The required tasks include legal research, drafting memoranda and correspondence, and assisting Commission staff at weigh-ins and professional boxing and mixed martials arts events. The candidate should be available to work at least one day per week in the Commission office and on Saturday evenings, if necessary.
