Proposal Information

Description:

Looking for intelligent, quick-thinking and poised individuals to assist us in Division of Planning, Development & Community Infrastructure (OPD&CI) tasks. The Division is in need of someone to support outreach and social media activities.

Duties include: write press releases and script entries for our internal newsletter; interview local government officials regarding projects our division has facilitated; build content (photos, social media posts, quotes, etc.) for use by the DOS Public Information Office; assist in events and off-site presentations that will require additional hands; research and compile an e-newsletter to disseminate funding opportunities, news articles and policy updates related to redevelopment of brownfields to BOA stakeholders; and assist administrative staff with office operations, such as records management, reporting, filing, etc.

You will develop relationships with DOS staff, local government officials and other agency personnel, learn about local government/state relations, and come away with a better understanding of State operations.
