Proposal Information

Description:

Looking for intelligent, quick-thinking and poised individuals to assist us in Division of Planning, Development & Community Infrastructure (OPD&CI) tasks. The Division is in need of someone to support staff in the review and approval of Local Waterfront Revitalization Programs (LWRP).

Duties include: assist with the review of LWRPs to ensure compliance with State and federal laws; research existing LWRPs to identify model language and best practices that could be replicated/considered in developing future LWRPs; assist with the creation and data maintenance of an LWRP database; and assist staff with drafting policy, procedural, or supplemental guidance documents.

You will develop relationships with DOS staff, local government officials and other agency personnel, learn about local government/state relations, and come away with a better understanding of State operations.
