Description:

Structural Engineer interns working for OGS will be involved in project management, civil engineering, and structural engineering activities. Duties may include conducting field investigations, assistance with the preparation of engineering reports and studies, modeling, drafting, structural engineering calculations, developing and maintaining project schedules, writing periodic project status reports and assistance with developing contract bid drawings and specifications on a variety of projects. Projects may range from relatively small single trade projects to large scale multi trade projects requiring coordination with architecture and other engineering disciplines.

Specific Work Duties on Projects:
Specific work would likely include: Research, Field Investigations, engineering CAD Drafting, computer modeling, preparation of spreadsheets and reports, attendance in project related meetings, filing, development of engineering calculations and presentations
