Description:
Civil Engineer interns working for OGS will be involved in the management and execution of subsurface investigations, preparation of geotechnical engineering reports, and soil boring logs for a variety of engineering projects. These projects range from relatively small projects that need input for the safe performance of excavations to large scale projects requiring geotechnical design and construction recommendations for multi-level buildings, large retaining walls, ground modification/stabilization, earth embankments, etc.
Specific Work Duties on Projects:
Specific work would likely include: Research, Field Investigations, CAD Drafting, computer modeling, preparation of spreadsheets and reports, attendance in project related meetings, filing, development of calculations and presentations.
