Proposal Information

Description:

This position will involve providing psychological services to individuals who are eligible for OPWDD services. Service provision could take place at a campus based setting or in the community. The setting will vary depending on the location of the internship.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist, the intern will assist psychology staff in the performance of psychology related duties which may include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Work directly with individuals receiving services and assist the psychologist with everyday duties.
* Attend meetings and complete meeting minutes upon request.
* Assist with data collection, data entry and basic data analysis.
* Assist with clerical duties and other general office tasks.
* Adhere to OPWDD policies and procedures and ensure the protection of individual rights, especially their right to be free from abuse or harm.

Candidates must have the ability to work with individuals who have various abilities, disabilities, histories, and cultural backgrounds.

Candidates must understand the APA Code of Ethics.
