Description:
NYS DOT is looking for 2 Senior or Junior students studying Civil/Transportation Engineering for an unpaid internship this summer. The work will include study of the existing ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), sample data collection and providing input to the HVTMC (Hudson Valley Transportation Management Center) ITS Master Plan project.
Students will be involved with In-house projects for study of the HVTMC ITS roadway network. The latest ITS operation system information will be collected and investigated by the students.
Students will learn about the ITS System Planning study and ITS Field Data Collection - Field Visit. In addition, the students will also learn about the ITS System operation.
