Description:

The internship at the Office of Mental Health Community Budget and Fiscal Management (CBFM) Group will provide the selected applicant with unique exposure to the various activities of CBFM, which administers over $1.3B in Local Assistance funding for Community Mental Health Programs. The selected applicant will have the opportunity to work with the Director and CBFM managers in completing high priority projects as well as numerous day to day work assignments. Examples of prior intern assignments include: coordination of internal controls testing, assist in preparing reports for OSC and DOB, analyze budget actions and assist in implementation, attend internal and external meetings with CBFM managers, assist in the creation of divisional spending plans and analysis of the systems used to facilitate Residential Treatment Facility admissions.
