Description:

Internship Description:
1. Assist professional staff in researching best practices for clinical treatment and programming for both inpatient and residential settings.
2. Learn how to apply regulations, policy, and guidance to the operation of state operated services.
3. Participate in routine facility conference calls and meetings focused on civil psychiatric center operations.
4. Participate in clinical consultations to discuss high risk individuals in inpatient and residential settings.
5. Participate in the oversight and appropriate discharge planning for individuals transferred from local and state correctional systems.
6. Participate in efforts to increase engagement of difficult to serve individuals.
7. Exposure to data tracking and analysis used to help inform policy decisions.
