Job Description

Workforce Program Specialists (Youth Systems) develop promote, monitor, analyze, and evaluate workforce development programs and contracts for youth aged 13 to 18 years; provide technical assistance, support and training programs to various facilities and organizations that offer opportunities for youth; research and maintain updated information regarding best practices, industry standards, and employment trends for workforce development programs; and review, approve, and process contracts, contract changes, and reimbursement requests consistent with requirements.  These positions are located in the Office of Children and Family Services.

Minimum Qualifications

You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.

Bachelor's or higher degree and two years of professional experience with youth workforce development including program administration, program development, program monitoring, provision of technical assistance, employment counseling and/or vocational training, job development or placement services.
