Job Description

Natural Resources Planners assist in coordinating, developing, and evaluating programs; in formulating and updating the Statewide Natural Resources Plan:  assist other staff in formulating, coordinating, and reviewing related program plans and in developing aspects of the Natural Resources Plan, and in authoring or otherwise preparing various written products.  These positions are located in the Department of Environmental Conservation, the Adirondack Park Agency, and Parks and Recreation.

Minimum Qualifications

You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.

Bachelor's or higher degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies, Natural Resources Management, or Natural Resources Planning and two years of professional experience in local and/or regional planning involving natural resource analysis.
