Civil Service Institute for State Employees
Welcome to the Civil Service Institute (CS Institute) for state employees. The CS Institute is designed to assist New York State employees with their understanding of Civil Service laws and regulations, and the New York State merit system. Courses on career planning, such as resume and interview preparation, are also available. Employees will find valuable information to enhance their knowledge and increase their awareness of employment and mobility options.
