Description:
Intern will work in the Department's Vehicle Unit, Building Administration Unit, and Purchasing Unit. Vehicle Unit tasks would include data entry in an Excel spreadsheet of vehicle mileage logs and other assorted tasks. Building Administration tasks would entail speaking with Department employees that have building-related issues at their workplace. The Intern would be responsible for communicating these issues to the building landlord for quick resolution. Interns helping out with the Purchasing Unit will learn the basics of purchasing and using established Department and State government guidelines. Interns will be responsible for answering phones for the office.
