Description:
The P2 Unit is seeking an intern to assist with work under the Hazardous Waste Reduction Planning (HWRP) program. The intern will assist program staff with writing HWRP success stories and updating sector-specific P2 manuals. Tasks may include HWRP data review and analysis, researching successful P2 techniques, outreach to generators to gather detailed P2 information, and writing P2 case studies to be posted on the DEC website. The intern may also assist with data entry to analyze trends in hazardous waste generation, GIS-based mapping tasks, and other tasks as needed.
