Proposal Information

Description:

Identify, count, measure, and tag marine invertebrate and finfish species in the field. Record data. Enter and proof data in Access databases. Assist other programs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work long hours on boats; the ability to follow detailed technical instructions; excellent skills in identification of Long Island marine organisms; good communication skills; interest and college coursework in biology or marine/environmental/natural sciences.

Eligible applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
