Job Description
Senior Municipal Financial Analyst assist in analyzing and monitoring New York City's and New York State's fiscal and management performance. In this capacity, you would compile data for statistical and analytical reports; compile and assist in the analysis of statistical data pertaining to revenue, expenditure, and economic trends and their impact on New York City's and New York State's fiscal operations; assist in the review of proposed legislation which may impact New York City's or New York State's financial condition; draft and edit reports, informal briefings, correspondence, and other communications; summarize findings of research and analysis; and prepare detailed reports.

Minimum Qualifications
You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.
Either 1. A bachelor's degree AND two years of professional experience in public policy analysis, public financial analysis or economic analysis; OR
2. A master's or higher degree in economics, public administration, public policy, or finance; AND one year of professional experience in public policy analysis, public financial analysis or economic analysis.
