Job Description
Financial Analysts analyze financial information related to various types of delinquent tax cases (such as high value, bankruptcy, offers-in-compromise, and criminal restitution cases); analyze all aspects of a taxpayer's financial and industry situation to ascertain ability to pay past due taxes and recommend collection strategy and repayment plan; analyze a wide variety of documents, records, and other various sources of financial information; and may be involved in broader analysis of collection efforts and economic trends.

Minimum Qualifications
You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.
A bachelor's or higher degree AND two years of professional experience performing financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, collateral analysis and industry trend analysis in order to determine repayment ability.
Examples of qualifying experience would be a commercial credit analyst or commercial lender.
NOTE: Experience as a mortgage broker, consumer credit analyst, bank branch manager, budget analyst, bookkeeper, account clerk or accountant aide is NOT considered qualifying.
