Job Description
Criminal Justice Policy Analysts analyze criminal justice policy, programs, legislation, and research studies; analyze, evaluate, monitor, present, and convey criminal justice and program performance data and trends; develop reports and other research materials and documents on criminal or juvenile justice programs; and conduct relevant research for, prepare correspondence to, and provide technical assistance to other governmental agencies.

Minimum Qualifications
You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.
Either 1. A bachelor's degree in correctional studies, crime analysis, criminal justice, criminology, economics, forensics, government, law, law enforcement, law and society, political science, public administration, public affairs, public justice, psychology, social work, or sociology AND two years of experience analyzing data, trends, policies, and programs that involve criminal justice and/or juvenile justice populations in a formal professional setting; OR
2. a master's degree or higher in correctional studies, crime analysis, criminal justice, criminology, economics, forensics, government, law, law enforcement, law and society, political science, public administration, public affairs, public justice, psychology, social work, or sociology AND one year of experience analyzing data, trends, policies, and programs that involve criminal justice and/or juvenile justice populations in a formal professional setting.
