Health Facility Management Assistant, G-18

Health Facility Management Assistants function as management assistants to facility executive directors, or a designee thereof. Employees analyze systems and procedures; recommend improvements; ensure compliance with audit recommendations; perform various budgeting activities; coordinate the development and maintenance of manuals; monitor various deadlines; conduct analytic studies; attend meetings on behalf of management; and perform similar activities. These positions are located in the Department of Health, the Office of Mental Health, and the Office for People With Developmental Disabilities.
Trainees will receive a combination of structured training, on-the-job training, and/or practical job performance to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to function at the full performance level.
You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.
A bachelor's or higher degree; AND two years of professional administrative experience in a health-related facility.
You must have or expect to receive a bachelor's or higher degree by September 1, 2020.
The 2019 PCO will be open for application from January 18, 2019. To apply for the examination for this PCO Select Job Title you must apply for the PCO examination by February 20, 2019, fill out and submit the PCO Questionnaire by April 5, 2019, and take the PCO written test in April of 2019.
