Job Description

Health Facility Management Assistants function as management assistants to facility executive directors, or a designee thereof. Employees analyze systems and procedures; recommend improvements; ensure compliance with audit recommendations; perform various budgeting activities; coordinate the development and maintenance of manuals; monitor various deadlines; conduct analytic studies; attend meetings on behalf of management; and perform similar activities.

Minimum Qualifications

You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.

A bachelor's or higher degree AND two years of professional administrative* experience in a health-related facility**.

*Professional administrative experience encompasses work performed by non-medical staff to support the operation of a health-related facility. This includes, but is not limited to, professional level work in human resources, business/finance offices, quality management, or functioning as the administrator of a health-related facility. Experience as a clinician providing treatment or services to patient or working as a registrar, medical secretary, office manager, or any similar experience is not qualifying.

**Health-Related facilities are inpatient, outpatient, and community settings in which patients receive care and treatment. This includes, but is no limited to, general hospitals, psychiatric centers, addiction treatment centers, secure and forensic care facilities, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Experience working for a health insurance company, an agency tasked with inspecting healthcare settings to ensure standards of care, or any similar experience is not qualifying
