Job Description
Individuals in this job title develop and present training programs to improve the on-the-job knowledge, skills, and abilities of employees to better enable them to carry out the employing agencys mission. Training Specialists may train agency employees directly; or may provide direct training to local government employees or other parties; or may develop and administer contracts for providing training services. Training Specialists are found in a wide variety of agencies.
