Job Description
Individuals in this job title perform analysis of food and dairy products for contamination with microorganisms, biological toxins, and antibiotic residues using the most recent procedures adopted by the laboratory, including processing for bacteriological analysis, establishing and maintaining records, planning weekly work schedules, and monitoring equipment and other lab supplies. They may also assist in research and development of methods of testing food for microbiological hazards.
