Job Description
Individuals in this job title provide services necessary to help certain low-income individuals obtain and maintain employment. Services provided include completing client assessments to identify work history, training and education credentials, employment preferences, barriers to employment and other factors needed to support an effective job search. They help clients identify available job openings, prepare employment resumes and may provide work readiness training for clients on topics such as how to complete an on-line job application and appropriate work habits. They engage in frequent written and oral communications with clients and employers and function with a high degree of independence when helping clients obtain employment.
