Minimum Qualifications

You must meet the requirements below to qualify for this title.

A bachelor's degree in audiology, behavioral health/science, child and family studies, community health, community mental health, counseling, counseling and community psychology, creative arts therapy, education, forensic mental health, gerontology, health administration, health education, health science, healthcare administration, hospital administration, human development, human services, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, public health, recreation therapy, rehabilitation counseling, social work, sociology, special education, speech communication, speech/language pathology, substance abuse counseling, therapeutic recreation; AND two years of professional experience in developing and delivering classroom training involving concepts and techniques of care for vulnerable persons in a mental hygiene setting.

OR

A master¿ or higher degree in audiology, behavioral health/science, child and family studies, community health, community mental health, counseling, counseling and community psychology, creative arts therapy, education, forensic mental health, gerontology, health administration, health education, health science, healthcare administration, hospital administration, human development, human services, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, nursing, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychology, public health, recreation therapy, rehabilitation counseling, social work, sociology, special education, speech communication, speech/language pathology, substance abuse counseling, therapeutic recreation; AND one year of professional experience in developing and delivering classroom training involving concepts and techniques of care for vulnerable persons in a mental hygiene setting.
