The Productivity Enhancement Program

Program Overview

The Productivity Enhancement Program (PEP) allows eligible full- and part-time employees to exchange previously accrued annual and/or personal leave for a credit to be applied toward the employee share of their NYSHIP premium on a biweekly basis.

Eligibility Requirements

Employees who are Management/Confidential; represented by C-82, CSEA, DC-37, NYSCOPBA, PBANYS, PEF or UUP; Legislature and UCS are currently eligible to participate in PEP.

How to Enroll

To enroll in PEP for 2026, you must apply between November 1 – December 8, 2025. Contact your Health Benefits Administrator (HBA) for an enrollment form.
