The May 2026 Empire Plan Report for NY active groups (C-82, CSEA, DC-37, M/C and the Legislature, NYSCOPBA, PBA, PBANYS, PEF, PIA, UCS and UUP) is now available online and will soon be mailed and emailed to enrollees. There is also a May 2026 Empire Plan Report for retirees of New York State agencies. The Reports explain changes to The Empire Plan and NYSHIP and have important reminders for enrollees.
Distribution
We will mail and email the Empire Plan Report to enrollees in May. The file for this mailing was pulled from NYBEAS on April 8, 2026, so any enrollee not enrolled in The Empire Plan on NYBEAS as of this date should be provided with a copy.
Publications Available Online
Please check our website at nyship.ny.gov for new publications. We generally post publications when we sign off for printing.
