The Employee Benefits Division has issued a new publication entitled Reporting On Building Your Family. The Reporting On publications describe some of the unique programs and benefits available under The Empire Plan.
Reporting On Building Your Family (AL2106, May 2026) explains The Empire Plan’s family-building benefits, including:
- The Building Healthy Families program
- Access to fertility treatment
- Support for mental health
- Pregnancy, maternity and pediatric care
- Support for diverse paths to building a family
This publication is now available on the NYSHIP website at nyship.ny.gov. It replaces Reporting On Healthy Babies, which has been discontinued.
