Updated Publications
We are happy to announce that the newly designed version of On the Road with The Empire Plan for PA and PE Actives and Retirees is at the printer and will be available in fulfillment soon.
On the Road with The Empire Plan for PA and PE Actives and Retirees replaces both the January 2009 PA and PE Actives version and the October 2009 PE Retirees version. It includes contact and claims information for The Empire Plan programs and carriers that enrollees can use while they are traveling or when their dependents are away from home. Please recycle any copies of the 2009 versions on your shelves and replace them with the new version.
Note that this is the first publication where we've changed our web site address to a .gov URL to comply with an Office for Technology (OFT) mandate. The new address, https://www.cs.ny.gov, will be included in the next round of Empire Plan Reports and HMO Reports and all publications printed after this date.
Distribution
We will send five copies of this publication to each agency in late July. It is also included in our new hire and new retiree quick order packages that are available to order on HBA Online only. This publication will not be mailed to enrollees' homes.
