We are happy to announce that the January 1, 2002 NYSHlP General Information Book and Empire Plan Certificate for Employees designated M/C; Legislature is at the printer. It is scheduled for mailing the week of February 25.
This book replaces the 1996 version as well as all Empire Plan Reports and Amendments updating that book. Please remove old materials from your shelves and recycle them when you receive your supply of the new book. However, be sure to keep your supply of the September 1, 2001 NYSHIP General Information Book for M/C; Legislature employees enrolled in HMOs.
Distribution
As we mail this book to employees homes, we will send you a supply equal to 5 percent of your enrollment. We drew labels from NYBEAS on February 14. Please be sure to give a copy of the new book to each Executive Branch M/C or Legislative employee who enrolls in the Empire Plan after February 14, 2002.
