SUBJECT: Webinar on the Verification Phase of the NYSHIP Dependent Eligibility Verification Project

The Department of Civil Service will be hosting a webinar for New York State and Participating Employer Health Benefits Administrators (HBAs) on Wednesday, June 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. regarding the NYSHIP Dependent Eligibility Verification Projectbeing administered by Budco Health Service Solutions. The verification of dependent eligibility will occur between July 6, 2009 and October 5, 2009.
There are several locations throughout the State that will host the webinar. To attend, please register on-line by Friday, June 15, 2009. Go to www.cs.state.ny.us/ebd/welcome/devp.cfm where you will find all of the registration information. Driving directions will be provided upon registering, along with any special information you may need regarding parking and/or building access.
We hope you will be able to attend. Because space is limited, a maximum of two participants from each agency will be allowed to attend. Participation is available on a first-come first-serve basis, so please sign up early. If you are unable to attend the live webinar, it will be available on-line at www.cs.state.ny.us/nyshipeligibilityproject/index.cfm the week of June 22, 2009.
