We are happy to announce that the NYSHIP Special Report: Covering Your Young Adult Children is at the printer and will be shipped to agencies soon. This new publication explains the health insurance coverage available for young adult children under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and NYSHIP’s Young Adult Option.

Distribution
We will be mailing this publication to enrollee homes in late October. We will send you a supply of both the NY/PE Active (AL1035) and NY/PE Retiree (AL1037) publications equal to 2 percent of your NYSHIP enrollment for use at health fairs and meetings and for any enrollees or retirees who request it.
