The Empire Plan Special Report on Health Insurance Fraud, February 2019 is now available online and will soon be available in inventory. This publication updates and replaces the 2013 version. This Empire Plan Special Report describes some of the most common forms of health insurance fraud and abuse, how it drives up health insurance premiums and out-of-pocket costs as well as what enrollees can do to help protect themselves from becoming victims.
