SUBJECT: Action/Reason Codes for Dependent Adds/Deletes and Changes in Coverage
DATE: November 30, 2010

New NYBEAS action/reason codes have been created to capture more specific information when adding or deleting dependents or processing changes in coverage. The new action/reason codes will be made available on December 1, 2010. The attached charts outline the action/reason codes now available for dependent transactions and indicate which ones are new.

Please refer to HBA Memos NY10-19, PE10-13, PA10-15, PAEX10-11 and SEHP10-05 for the required documentation you must collect before adding any dependents.
