2022 SEHP Rates
The SEHP Rate Letter for 2022 (see attachment) will be mailed first class to enrollees’ homes on December 3. The mail file was pulled from NYBEAS on November 20, so any enrollee not on NYBEAS as of this date should be provided with a copy. Rate information is also posted on NYSHIP Online. Please print copies as needed, as we will not be sending a supply for your use. This letter is also included in the SEHP Quick Order Package, which is available to order on HBA Online.

Pre-Tax Contribution Program Election Period and Updated PS-404G Form
To ease administrative burden, the annual election period for the Pre-Tax Contribution Program (PTCP) now coincides with the annual Option Transfer Period for active employees of New York State. The October 2021 SEHP Report included information about this change and the 2022 SEHP Rate Letter notes the December 31, 2021 deadline to submit a PTCP election change. The SEHP transaction form (PS 404-G) has been renamed the NYSHIP Health Insurance Transaction Form for the Student Employee Health Plan (SEHP) and the previous annual PTCP election period (November 1-30) has been removed. The updated form is available online and is also an attachment to this memo.
