SUBJECT: IPP Annual Update

Enclosed is a listing of your agency employees enrolled in the Income Protection Plan (IPP) as voluntary acceptors or mandatory participants whose applications were received prior to January 2,1998.
Please note that while all M/C or DC-37 employees who have no service prior to the IPP implementation date of their respective programs are mandatory acceptors, they will not be listed until an enrollment application is processed. If you note such a case, please submit an application immediately. Benefits cannot be paid until the application has been received and processed. You should have a copy of an application on file for every M/C or DC-37 employee even if the enrollee transferred from another agency. The releasing agency should have forwarded the form to you.
Enrollees who have declined or lost eligibility will not be listed. For example, enrollees who have had negotiating unit changes or who have left State service will not be listed.
Please be sure to notify this office of anyone in your agency who is eligible but is not listed, or of anyone listed who is not eligible. You may do this by noting on the printout any information that is not correct or in the case of omissions, by adding an enrollee's name along with Social Security Number, Negotiating Unit, etc. Send a photocopy of the printout to Ms. Lynn Paradowski, IPP Unit, at the above address. She will investigate any discrepancies and advise you of her findings.
