SUBJECT: 2023 Participating Employer HBA Webinar – July 1 Benefit Changes

The Employee Benefits Division (EBD) is pleased to announce that a Participating Employer health Benefits Administrator (HBA) Webinar will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. The Employee Benefits Division will present information on the New York State Health Insurance Program (NYSHIP) mid-year benefit and rate changes effective July 1, 2023, and the upcoming Special Option Transfer Period.

It is mandatory for all Participating Employer (PE) HBAs to view the information that will be presented in this webinar, either by attending the live session or by viewing a recording of the webinar. The recorded webinar will be posted to HBA Online a few days after the session and will be announced in an HBA Memo when it becomes available. If you are unable to attend a live webinar, please view the recorded session. EBD will issue an HBA Memo once the recorded webinar session is available for you to view on HBA Online.

To register for the live webinar, click on the registration link below. Complete the required information and click “register” to complete your registration. Once you have registered, you will receive an e-mail confirmation, so please make sure you enter a correct e-mail address.

We recommend that you test your system prior to the session to be sure your current computer software supports the webinar. If you experience technical difficulties or are unable to install the required software to allow you to test your system, we suggest you contact your computer system administrator.
