SUBJECT: Updated NYS Vision Plan Booklets: 90-day Purchase Period Clarification

The attached letter, which will be sent to current NYS Vision Plan enrollees within the next two weeks, clarifies the 90-day purchase period for vision materials and services. NYS Vision Plan enrollees are instructed to keep the letter with their NYS Vision Plan booklet since updated booklets will not be sent to current enrollees.
Until the current inventory of booklets is exhausted, the letter will also be inserted into the existing NYS Vision Plan benefit booklets and sent to new enrollees.
NYS Agency Health Benefits Administrators can find updated electronic NYS Vision Plan booklets on HBA Online. Please be advised when ordering booklets: until supplies are exhausted, your order will be filled with the attached letter and the current (non-updated) booklets. Subsequently, updated booklets will be used to fill your order. Also, for your reference, please see the directions below on how to order NYS Vision Plan booklets from Davis Vision for your agency.
