We are happy to announce that the April 2010 Reporting On Asthma is at the printer and will be shipped to agencies soon. This newly revised publication replaces the May 2007 version. Please recycle any copies of the old version you may have on your shelves.
This publication discusses the causes and symptoms of asthma, how to avoid asthma triggers, types of asthma drugs, smoking cessation benefits and it also describes The Empire Plan’s Asthma Management Program.
You will notice a complete redesign of this publication, as well as for the entire Reporting On series. We hope that you find Reporting on Asthma and the other Reporting Ons that follow to be helpful in meeting the needs of your enrollees.
Distribution
We will not be mailing this publication to enrollee homes. We will send you a supply equal to 1 percent of your enrollment for use at health fairs, distribution to new hires and retirees and general use.
