We are pleased to announce that the December 2011 Planning for Retirement is at the printer and will be shipped to agencies soon. This popular publication provides important health insurance information for New York State employees who are planning to retire from State service and includes the new actuarial table for employees in settled groups. As of the date of this memo, the groups that have the new table and the effective date of the change are as follows:

Note: Additional groups that settle and ratify their contracts may be added to this list in the future. EBD will notify agencies of additional changes as necessary. Unsettled groups continue to use the old actuarial table, which can be found on HBA Online.
This newly designed version replaces the April 2011 version. Please remove the April 2011 version from your shelves, recycle and replace it with this new version.
