The Department of Civil Service is pleased to announce a webinar “Opt-out Benefit for 2012” for Friday, December 16. There will be two sessions available for HBAs, at 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m.

The purpose of this webinar is to discuss and provide additional detail related to HBA Memos NY11-46 and NY11-48.

At the end of the presentation, Employee Benefits Division staff will be available to answer questions regarding any situations that HBAs may be encountering.

To facilitate this webinar, several State agencies have graciously provided their facilities as locations HBAs can attend to view the webinar live and participate with questions. Additionally, for those HBAs who cannot attend one of the available sessions, they will be recorded and the Powerpoint presentation will be made available for later viewing on HBA Online.

Below is a list of facilities which are designated locations for the webinar, as well as contacts for each location. Please confirm directly with these individuals to schedule your attendance and to ensure you will have no issues with building security. Space may be limited, so please confirm as soon as possible.
